Hello, I am Deborah Ferrari. I love to read articles about women who
have accomplished great things in their lives. Today I was reading
about Barabara Hartmann and like to share about her life and
achievements.
Barbara Hartmann
was
born on 29 May in beautiful valleys of a small town in England. She
is the third child in her family and a daughter of an engineer and a
teacher. During her school days, she developed an affinity for maths
and science. She worked at a local grocery store for earning her
pocket money and after her high school, she went to one of the most
prestigious university to pursue her Bachelors of Science in computer
and software and later attained her masters degree in the same field.
In the beginning of her career, she started working as a software
engineer with an IT company. She served there for 5 years and later,
she joined another software developing company for her career growth.
Within few years that company became one of the top software
companies in the industry. While working there, she worked on some of
the most difficult projects with her distinct vision and
intelligence, which gave a new dimension to the company.
In year 1995, she was appointed as the vice
president of web products and user experience department in that
company. In the same year, she was nominated for an esteemed award in
the business field. She worked with the company for more than a
decade and made it count in some the best companies available in the
industry with the help of her hard working attitude. In year 2008,
she shocked the business world with her decision of joining with
another IT company as its CEO. According to a statement given by her
in an interview to a popular newspaper, she lives with an aim of not
resting at one place, but wants to discover new things each and every
day. Barbara

offered
the must needed guidance to the company and due to her this effort,
the profit rate grew upto 18% within 5 years. This was the outcome of
her decisions such as alteration in company policies and some
business collaborations. In year 2012, she ranked among the most
powerful women in the business world.
Barbara Hartmann
is
working on some important projects for the company. She is also
planning to launch a new software by the year 2017. She is also one
of the members the board which works for the welfare as well as
formulates policies for the employees working for IT companies.
Despite her busy schedule, she loves traveling to place that are
close to nature as this refreshes her childhood memories. She is also
very fond of food. She owns a beautiful penthouse in New York, where
she lives with her family. She is an active social worker, chair
person of a non-profit organization that works for the development of
children. She is considered as one the most influential personality
of the business world for her amazing working style and passion to do
something different from the others. Her dedication, sharp vision and
enthusiasm made her what she is today. She is an inspiration to many
people.
